I am going through something similar.

It sucks. I think the best thing you can do is to keep busy with other friends and pretend to show indifference.

And yeah, be careful of blowing these things all out of proportion, because there is a good possibility that is what's happening.

I don't have to pretend. If I choose, I turn things on and off like a switch. But that's good and bad. Because once the switch is off, I don't want to turn it back on. There isn't a lot of gray area with me.

I think we've all been through this. It does suck. If this person really has a good heart they will keep your confidences close and not reveal them.

(i'm still confused. did I miss something; are we talking about a girl??)

I can't talk for Katey, but mine was an flippant (un)funny tossed out without thought or reason. One should always stick with one's strengths.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: perfect spot for the "crop duster"

No sorry. Didn't mean to imply you were sleeping with a friend of your wife's. (sorry if it came out that way)

I thought maybe you confided stuff to a mutual friend. Most couples have mutual friends and often they are very good friends so sometimes you might confide things to your good friends and then later worry that it might get back to the wife. That's all.

No. I don't really talk about my wife with anyone.
