George Bush hates Texans

Now now, don't speak that way of my son. He may hate many groups of people, but he LOVES Texans (except for the black ones).

I'm impressed. Even Louisiana figured out how to use all lanes of a freeway. Hope no more buses burn up with empty lanes within a stone's throw.

I'm watching the TV coverage of the evacuation from Texas in response to the storm Rita. And there is a lot of traffic to say the least. Cars are supposedly moving at 1 mile per hour. What appears to me as stupid is that the lanes of the freeway that head towards the opposite direction are totally empty.

Wouldn't it make sense if the authorities made these empty opposing lanes available for those who are evacuating? It would ease traffic in a big way if this were done.

They are keeping the inbound lanes open so they'll be available when the tanker truck convoy comes to haul off the water to be evaporated outside of Houston.

Check out the picture on this link. More than enough space, if you ask me.

Jesus Man, bush already created and sent the second storm itself to kill any survivors that Katrina missed, doesn't he ever get tired.

No one can get gas anywhere. Many cars stalled out on the freeway. A few pictures listed below
