You played it fine. You could have waited until the turn to raise but meh

I might wait until the turn to raise because you can't knock anyone out with a three bet on the flop.

Good fold on the river. The weak player in the hand with you is insurance that UTG would not bluff.

in theory, yes. in actual play... most players don't really know what they're doing. and OP says these guys suck. so even though the weak player being in there reduces the chances of the river being a bluff, it definitely doesn't eliminate them. the other guy is a weak player too...

i see people play worse jacks like this sometimes too. your hand is too strong in a pot this size to not see a showdown for one more bet.

Call the flop checkraise and raise the turn.

Folding the river getting 14:1 is bad.

why would u want to wait till the turn to raise?

This is almost a perfect flop for TPTK. J, brick, brick.

Im 3betting this flop every time. I also call the river.

Perfect until river. Folding TPTK on this board getting almost 15-1? No way. Ok so the loose idiot probably has a 5 but you win this lots more than 6,5% IMO.

Ya, I didn't take into account the size of the pot when I said I thought the fold was good. With bad players and a pot that size, a call looks +EV.

I'm really surprised at the amount of responses that like waiting til the turn to c/r. When a Q or K hits you may trap for bets when you're behind. Even worse it could check through as the raiser may, and likely is, be FOS and decide to check the turn. When that happens you miss the value from not 3 betting the flop and the bets on the turn.

I think 3betting the flop is much better, you bunch of fancy pants.
