I'll have a read most times but the average player isn't capable of making this move here. Against those that are capable, I definitely call down. Again, the flush card coming on the turn makes it close because potentially KhXh hands can be added in.

That situation is much different. CO is trapping MP for an extra BB, plus he raised preflop. In fyodor's hand he is knocking out the button with the raise.

Since fyodor didn't specify if opponent was passive or aggressive I'm not sure anybody can accurately say what to do.

That's true. The fact that it looks like a protection raise on the flop makes me want to call the river more.
