This is truly bizzarre. You didn't by any chance observe any other hands involving these three players, did you? It may just be that the TAG caught a good hand playing the maniacs while you caught a marginal hand, but manaics folding the turn like this to leave you HU with a TAG, it's just wierd, that's all...

yeah weird, in a "i'm going to play with them as much as possible" kind of way. at least the maniacs.

as the session progressed, it became clear that the "TAG" was really a tight passive player who was extremely predicatable with his agression.

were you thinking they did this intentionally? no chance. they really were just not good at poker.

This is just the sort of play that I will make a note of and keep an eye on for a couple of orbits.

easy fold for me. Two dimonds devalue your hand here since there are a lot of people in this pot. Plus a big chance of getting 3-bet behind. Fold

I fold this before the flop. If I didn't, I fold it on the turn. Seems pretty straightforward.

it could happen with these clowns. but highly unlikely.
i think i was way too optimistic and played the turn poorly.

it's these kind of mistakes (invloving multiple bets on the big streets) that i am trying to stamp out of my game by posting the hands publicly
