I wonder why you didn't raise preflop. I guess there could be situational reasons not to, but I'm having a hard time thinking of them...

I'm just calling the river, but I'm coming to realize that I play weak-tight poker.

Why do you limp PF? KQo is not the best hand 6-handed.

[/ QUOTE ]

are you advocating a fold?

[/ QUOTE ]

No. Raise. But just asking if there was some particular reason that I am not aware of

I don't see a flush happening here much, if at all.

Never?

I didn't notice that hero had the 2nd nut flush draw on the turn. I wouldn't say that hero has to bet this turn, but it looks like it would a good bet. Hero has between 12-18 outs so only 2 callers makes this a value bet. Moreover, he may have the best hand or scare the best hand out and wind up winning without improving a small fraction of the time. So I vote to bet the turn.

I'm torn about the river, though. I think I may be seeing monsters if I say that SB has QJ more than 1/3 of the time and for a call to be correct, that ratio would probably have to be about 40%.

when you're playing in a game where limping Q2o+ K2+ 23o, etc. isn't uncommon at all, there really aren't.

I'd raise preflop and call the river.

Default preflop

KQo is not all that strong multiway. keeping the pot small here is not bad.

it is when your opponents are limping complete trash. If these are reasonable limpers, then it's different. KQo is a monster against limpers with VPIP 40+.

I think my cutoff line for keeping the pot small in this spot vs loose limpers would be KJ. KQ's just too strong enough IMO.

Being on the button this is a must-raise PF. Even in the SB I'd think about raising this given table conditions.
