Re: Best reality show ever? (minimal poker content)
I know I'm echoing other posters here but it needs to be said again - your proposed is a reality TV show format absolutely no one would watch. Although I think it does reveal how very much you are addicted to the pok-air
How much do poker players want to be on TV? Obviously personality dependent (I wouldn't be on a reality show unless they paid me >$10M). Overall though, from a +EV perspective... I say most poker pros jump at the chance. I mean really, outside of the top 20 pros... how much $ do you think they are giving up vs. how much they MIGHT make with the notoriety of being on a hit reality show? A poker pro being on a reality TV show is similar to Tom Cruise on a reality TV show? Are you kidding me? Uhm - how much exactly do you think "top-notch" poker pros are making vs. Tom Cruise? And while there is relatively little upside for Cruise on a reality show, you think there is none for a pro? |

Thanks for the backup, dude.
But i still think the format could be interesting... How could people NOT be interested in watching great poker interspersed with catty coffehousing and maniacal bad beat rants? Marlow |
