I would suggest playing as many hours as you can and then asking them about the rate again when you check out with the poker desk. I dont know about the borg but this generally works for me at other places.

This will not work at Borgata, unless maybe you are playing 80/160 or higher and get in good with the floor.

fairfield inn aint too bad......i think the red eye rate (after 10pm) only works during weekdays and is based on availabilty. what happened with borgata? they had no poker rate ? i called them during the week and got reservations.....guess having a black card has some benefits =)

If you are playing in any of the tourney's you may be able to get a room, I am heading there on Weds, and playing some tourney's and had no problem getting a room.

Anyone else playing in any of them?

The Sheraton Atlantic City is an excellent choice, and great to get away from the noise of the casino. Unfortunately the price of cabs have gone up.

Just got a room at the Tropicana for tonight via Travelaxe
(through Hotels.com). $100 +tax. Yesterday the same search yielded $160 for a Trop room.

Well, we were getting worried that you'd been murdered by a vengeful floorman, so the fact that you were just a little warm was a nice trade off.
