Year-in, year-out, the SEC is both the best conference in the country, and the most underrated, which is pretty damn amazing.

I agree somewhat with the SEC, but I'm somewhat surprised no one has mentioned the Big 10. Even this year, with 3 Nat'l Championship contending teams (UM, OSU, Iowa), the highest ranked team is 4. The rankings consistanly dismiss the Big 10. Here's some proof from OSU's national championship team 3 years ago. The biggest problem with the conference is that it is so good top to bottom (ok, not illinois, NW or IU), there is normally not going to be an undefeated conference champion. Problems like these lead to the Big 10 being the most underrated.
