I disagree. If you think villain will call with AQ/AJ/KQ, then by all means push. Hero is in an awkward spot on the flop if he gets called and then whiffs.

That one's only good if he does call AQ. Otherwise, just raise; when in doubt, it's OK to check behind on flops sometimes.

The first hand is a standard limp for me with 30 BB but it starts getting dicier with 20.

For the first hand, I thin you have enoguh to limp for set valuek, and i'd call a small raise with it too..

as for the second hand i think il ike the push, i think you get called by AQs there enough to make it good.. so unless you know specifically that this guy is pretty tight and would fould AQ.. it looks good.
