As long as we're telling stories about retarded tech support....

When I moved into my apartment in CA we had to call Comcast to get internet and cable set up. We didn't have a land line and GoT's cell phone got the best reception, so I used it. He has a Washington area code so Comcast's phone system directed the call to their Washington branch which apparently opperated almost independatly from the rest of the fuckign company. I spent 30 minutes getting "transfered to the CA branch". I ended up just giong through circles and circles of phone trees while never getting a hold of a single person that wasn't in Washington. Even the "direct number" they gave me to call CA sent me back to Washington.

That was fun.
