This march I'm moving to the Vegas area for better games and better availibility.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm thinking about a permanent move to Los Angeles so I can access a combo of both live and online play. I would choose LA over Vegas for live game action.

I play online when I want to grind out a lot of money.
I play live when I want to have fun and make a little money.

We have-more or less-the same problem.

However, as the casinos in my area (formerly Chicago area-NOTHING anywhere near Virginia Tech, where i am now) were quite lacking in terms of everything from game selection-poker and non-poker- to amenities and (most importantly for me) hot cocktail waitress/other hot women, it really didn't take too much to turn me off of B&M poker/gambling.

I imagine if I were nearer to a place like Vegas, AC, LA, etc. then I would be more inclined to spend more of my time in casinos and I find this to be the case for most people here.

Live play is more fun, online play is more profitable. It all depends on my mood.

I used to only play online, but now I'm bored silly playing online. Nothing beats shuffling chips, chatting with other players, playing with your friends and raking in huge pots. The level of play live is so much worse too so that definitely equalizes the fact that you can multi table.
