Re: I get to be a B&M pro for a few weeks....
[ QUOTE ]
If you're really making $150/hour and being out of work for 2 weeks is an issue, something is seriously wrong. You should have 6 months of living expenses saved up, minimum. Two weeks should not be an issue if you're saving properly, especially given that it's for your health. [/ QUOTE ] Being out of work for two weeks isn't a concern for me. I could make it fine. I'm just a very stubborn and greedy person and I can't let myself lose 2 weeks of income without feeling bad about it. I don't care how much moeny I have saved up, I don't like giving up extra income. |

[ QUOTE ]
why dont you spend your 2 weeks in some exotic location instead of playing poker since you cant make as much playing live anyway? +ev. [/ QUOTE ] I've been traveling a bit too much recently, that I think I really need to get back to actually working. Unfortunately, playing live is the only way to achieve this. |

Re: I get to be a B&M pro for a few weeks....
[ QUOTE ]
What surgery are you getting? When people use computers, studies have shown that they blink less and their eyes dry out faster. I've never told any of my patients that they specifically couldn't use a computer after surgery though. [/ QUOTE ] I just checked the instructions and it's no computer or reading for a week, and very, very limited computer/reading for the next week. This may or may not screw up my playing live plans. |

Re: I get to be a B&M pro for a few weeks....
I've never tried to play live after any sort of surgery... but the biggest problem I have in a B&M is dealing with the smoke. Is that a potential problem for your eyes?
