Re: Staking my uncle
If I were staking my uncle, I would probably just have him pay me back at his convenience.

Re: Staking my uncle
I don't understand. You have already said since it is a relative you don't want an ordinary staking deal. So why are you asking us?
Just have him pay you $130 whenever he wants or whatever. If you can't figure these things out for yourself perhaps you shouldn't do it. It's hardly rocket science. |

Re: Staking my uncle
Thank you. I just wanted to know if there was some sort of standard for staking arrangements. Maybe now I'll just have him buy me a cheeseburger.

Re: Staking my uncle
I would start at the 11s. The players are just as bad, but the rake is cut in half (percentage wise)

Re: Staking my uncle
When I stake friends, I just assume it is a gift from my enormous bankroll.
And then I expect them to sign up through some RAF at a later date so i can get the money back that way. It's family, let it be a gift. Then, there will never be hard feelings. You from not getting your money back if he goes bust. And he wont have any if he decides online poker is rigged and blames you for setting him up. |

Re: Staking my uncle
Some threads I read, I think to myself "Poker players have some of the best minds". This is not one of those threads...

Re: Staking my uncle
50-50 on winnings, you get the stake back when the agreement ends.
BTW, transfer him 200 to start and let him play 10+1s, 20% juice on the $5s is just silly |
