Peate finished 2nd to Tom McEvoy, I believe the two of them had won their seats in super-satellites.

E-Fro finished 1 credit short at the University of Virginia, maybe it was a PE class? (Yes this was said in poor taste).

Hi all.

This is really boring but Friday's are always slow. If they want to throw a boring shootout on Friday night up there to placate the pokerblue people, then I'm fine with it.

Since I edited after they originally saw the post, Peate does have a WSOP bracelet in 1995 for $1500 Stud 8 for $127k. He has 5 cashes in the WSOP ME (83, 87, 90, 97, 98).

Since the action's so exciting, I was Googling, and it looks like satellites started in the early 80's. I think the first WSOP ESPN broadcast was in 1988 (Chan v Seidel), but there's many WSOP videos available from the earlier years. I think CBS broadcast Baldwin's win in 1978 as part of their Sports Spectacular (probably shown months after it happened) with Brent Musberger/Jimmy the Greek as the commentators. One of Ungar's wins had Curt Gowdy doing the commentary, probably for the videotape.

Jesus/Cooperation Mike/Francisco/Steve are usually on the show Friday nights, I think Saturday's are usually the slower shows.
