fold preflop.

no way

Getting fancy is another way to say you tried to play tricky which is just about dumb most of the time, especially with a hand like 22 on that board. Your typical player isn't raising rags out of the BB.

[/ QUOTE ]

But he IS raising lots of hands after a limper and a sb completion that are unpaired on this flop. This flop and turn are good for 22.

[ QUOTE ]
Many players, tight ones even, will check AK here, only choosing to bet out with QQ-AA from the BB with limpers.

[/ QUOTE ]

cool, but what about the opponent in this hand? The guy described as:

Me and BB have done a little fighting in the blinds and he'll get overaggro vs. me. In general is very aggressive

pointless. no bluff equity, don't gain anything by making him fold 6 outs, expose yourself to a bluff or semi-bluff 3-bet. pretty much all the reasons to ever check-raise the turn headsup don't apply here

Wow, just call the turn and call a non ace/king/diamond river, and maybe even a non ace/king river depending on how aggressive you think he is. Don't try to overthink these situations. Make this play if you can check fold the river confidently. Doesn't sound like you can, so don't just spew OOP.

Check-raising the flop is just asking your opponent to outplay you. I check-call the flop and evaluate my options after I see the turn card.

ooh I'm off tonight.

I think that's a good reason to raise the turn, given the flop play

you can complete there, deal with the occasional raise, and fold every time you don't flop a set, and turn a profit.

[/ QUOTE ]

I dont have powers to know when my 2s are good and when they arent i pay.

Flopping the odd set wont make up for it either cos half the time they both have nothing so you dont collect that often.

you only need to collect around 1.5 or 2 BB postflop playign fit-or-fold

The amount of money you have to collect on average to make 22 profitable in the SB is miniscule. You're getting 5:1 odds and your odds of flopping a set are 7.5:1. If you average 1 flop bet and 1 turn bet won when you hit your set, you will turn a profit with 22 even if you fold every time you miss the flop.

on a side note, I wonder what set will hold up most. a set of deuces makes a straight much less likely, but can lose on xxyy2 boards, or to a higher set. against 3 limping hands, a set of deuces will probably hold up the most
