My entire 3rd year of law school was spent playing poker in class.

My excuse is that I am far too intelligent to only listen to a lecture.

I would try to pay attention some. Poker will only get you so far. Plus there is some interesting sh1t you can learn in college.

I'm not sure which is funnier. "Poker will only get you so far" or "there is some interesting stuff you can learn in college".

Let me double check...

Yep, still make over $250k a year playing poker and still didn't learn anything useful at all in college.

I respectfully disagree with you sir.

i am very jealous. I am 30 and finished grad school 6 years ago and wish i would have been able to play poker before, during and after class.

I support everyone that understands the uselessness of most college and graduate classes. As long as you are getting good grades, why not play poker during class?

I never just play poker anyways. I usually 6 table the PP 15 while watching TV, Movies, Surfing the Web, talking on the phone, dowloading music...

Listening to a lecture is far easier to do while playing poker than any of those. I had a prof stop me on the way out of class and ask, "How is it that you are always clicking away on your laptop with ear phones in, and still participate more than anyone in the class?" I told her its not hard at all, I have the volume really soft.

In actuality, I think I deliberately paid more attention to her and participated so she had no reason to put an end to my in class grinding.
