Thanks man. The SNG grind just isn't that much fun for me right now and I can't help but think you feel the same. Why else would ya be playing 3/6 when you can be making gazillions of dollars 12-tabling the 215s [/ QUOTE ] haha, yea its def a grind.. 5 months in a row of 2k sngs each kinda wears ya down a bit. i used to mess around in 10-20 6max a lot, but im pretty sure i was breaking even.. ptracker says i was up but i dont think i wwas. that was a while ago though.. so im actually gonna put some effort into this and try to learn the game. woohoo for 3-6. holla |

My steps to becoming a winning player:
#1. Read SSH hold'em #2. Get some practice is. 2/4 is a good place for beginners. I'd keep playing sit+go's if its your bread and butter. Get 20k hands in or so. Post some hands, your PT stats, #3. Reread Small stakes Hold'em. Play another 20k hands. Post more hands. Get used to playing 2, than 3, than finally 4 tables at a time. #4. Read Hold'em Poker for Advanced players #5. Move up to 3/6 on Party. Start with the full, then move to 6 max. Get another 10k hands in. Start posting in the HUSH (Heads up and short handed) forum, get used to shorthanded play. #6. Read some more books, esp. on shorthanded play #7. Start playing some 5/10 6 max. |
