[ QUOTE ]
Speaking of watching movies on TV, anyone else do this? Sometimes when I'm watching TV I'll see that a movie on that I own on DVD, yet I watch. Commercials, fullscreen format, edited for TV but for some reason I watch it.

I know I'm not alone, a coworker and I were discussing this a few weeks ago, and he does it too.

I think it has something to do with it being somewhat of a surprise when it comes on TV. Think part of the reason you're more likely to watch something if it comes on TV is because the decision to play it has already been made, you just have to watch. If you're going to go put a DVD in yourself, then you have the problem of many many choice.

Have done that myself too, but lately I try to at least get up and grab the DVD and pop it in.
