I play enough heads up that I don't want to get into what I specifically do because it'd really just help people play against me, but I think there is value in reraising your better two card draws (all else being equal).
Hopefully, it's obvious to reraise opponents with wider starting hand ranges and call against players who are tighter with opening. The most important deciding factor is how it affects your opponent. For example, I reraise more often against someone who folds too much. |

It's certainly not optimal, but it's better than varying your play just to vary your play against an opponent who you haven't played with for hours and hours. I'd say this closely resembles the game of blackjack. You need to learn the basic strategy before you even consider trying to use the more advanced concepts. Once you understand the straightforward plays, you can start looking for the adjustments you can make in a specific hand against a specific opponent. |
