So are you saying this isn't a good bet?

I was just trying to extract a little more value on the side. I might even get more respect since this IS a protected pot and cause another AK to fold. That would really be a coup if the all-in player has a hand like QJ, etc.

I just realized.. also, the pot size isn't really a factor when deciding to value bet the river, except how it will cause your opponent to play, right?

In a protected pot your opponent is going to be a lot less likely to call with AQ here, the all in player is just yanking value from your hand left and right.

Your (non all in) opponent knows that he'll get to see your hand, and that you won't win if you were bluffing anyway, that makes him, IMO, calling with few hands you beat and folding few hands that beat you.

I like it, you are going to call anyway and he will call more hands than he will bet that you beat. He probably wont check any pairs through either.
