No the 9 did not save me, MP2 has A8o
UTG+1 shows JJ and MHING

SH a 3-bet often means nothing more than TP or a pair plus draw. These games seem very passive in comparison and I constantly have to remind myself that a CR usually means a serious hand (absent a read) and 3-betting is almost unheard without the nuts or a stupid fish/LAG with a good but clearly 2nd-best hand.

I agree I overplayed the Turn, would perhaps have been preferable to play for overcalls from MP2, the 3-bet smacks of a split with AK or AJ at least (still splitting on the River). My feeling was that, given the PFR, it was unlikely UTG+1 had a 9, and he only calls my 3-bet so not AA either.

Thanks for the responses, I always seem to get 2-3 overplays a session, more than made up by the folds/blinds I get but I need to be careful when moving to $3/$6 and esp. $5/$10.
