I think I would raise. There is a reasonable chance that you are ahead of button, so you would like the other guy out.
You may even fold a hand like 66 from the pfr.

I think its a close raise/fold/call situation. We dont have many hands on the button and he did cold call, which means he is more likely to have a king. We dont really know how aggresive he is either. His range here is large, but is it large enough we should raise him? Also, it is doubtful mp is folding a pp here, there are a lot of people with similiar stats (.7 af) who go into call down mode here. Lastly, this is a stiuation where almost every card in the deck (besides a 3 and maybe an A or 2) can potentially kill you; you have no clue what your opponents hold and almost every card that hits is an overcard to your pair. These are hands that are very hard to play oop.

Calling is also close, with pot odds and implied odds this is almost dead even. It would be easier if you knew if button would bluff the turn if he really has nothing.

I keep going back and forth on this, but im gonna go with fold (would probably be a call with better read/more hands on button).

Why not try a bet on flop?

If MP was LAG a raise is meaningsless because he could do it with a lot of hands that are behind yours, but not this guy, he will only raise if ahead. Also, if table was very drawish their reaction to your bet doesnt tell u if u are ahead or not.

But now u can bet, and if they raise, u can call flop and quitely checkfold turn. Paying 1BB on flop in this spot isnt a disaster. If you hit turn you will normally win a decent pot, not that far from 9-10 BB.

If u bet a hand like this on the flop u also have to bet strong hands in same spot, like 2pairs and sets.

I would raise here. Looks like I have a good chance of being ahead of the button and I'd like the other two out of the hand.

Turn comes down A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

65/21/1.75 . Button is really agressive with playable hands preflop. I think he will not hesitate to isolate with any pocket and with AK,A9 I 3 bet and I think it's easy. He is maniac on the side. I bet he has something like Ax here that's why he called the flop and raised the turn.

I would 3-bet a 65/21/1.75 here as above, thinking he has Ax and will pay you off.

I'd three bet. He could easily play any Ace this way. He may be semibluffing a flush draw as well. I feel like this player would threebet preflop with AK and 99, and the only reasonable hand I can think of that you are behind is A9.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP raises, Button calls, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (8 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP checks, Button bets, SB folds, Hero raises, MP folds, Button calls.

Turn: (6 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, Hero calls.

What's my plan for the river? What if it's an A? If it's a 3? if it's a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]? if it's a K?
