My best friend/poker nemisis scored 2 royal flushes in one night and got paid on both of 'em. Those were the only 2 he ever got funny enough!

I've had 3 str8 flushes in the same day and probably like 15 total in something like 1.5 million hands. I probably played 1000-1500 hands that day. The odds are against a lot of things happening, but they still happen. Assuming you buy the notions of chemical selection and then natural selection, chemicals eventually became life in a highly unlikely scenario (substitute protocells if you want--they've been created in artificial estimate of early earth conditions). Basically, huge sample size and the highly improbable becomes probable.

A better way to assess what your friend claimed. Is he trustworthy? If he is, I don't see any reason not to believe him.

I had 3 pocket pair flopped quads within 14 hands of eachother awhile back don't remember the limits.

it could happen...

belive it or not, when i first started playing online hold em 3 yrs back I got these 5 hands consecutively in this exact order: AA, KK, AA, KK, KK

weird stuff happens sometimes.

p.s. what's even weirder is i won 4 out 5.
