[/ QUOTE ] Where'd the "what is conservative?" thread go? It might be argued that socialism-in-ten-years in the Republican answer to the Democrats' socialism-in-five-years platform. What is the philosophical essence of the Republican party platform? Republican candidates? Republican voters? There is none. The major parties, including Libertarian, are pragmatists. As such, nearly any view is compatible as long as you spin utility. |
