The PPI (Primate Programming Incorporated) web site explains, among others things, how primates have been trained to play no-limit hold'em against humans. It says they were trained using TOURNAMENT HOLD'EM POKER FOR ADVANCED PLAYERS by David Sklansky. Coincidentally, the web site is registered under the name of "Dan Mezick". Easy to Google, fun to oogle.
