I mean there are swings caused by variance, and maybe you didn't hit your card because party's algorithim stopped .0000001 seconds too early or whatever, but whatever the case, it's not luck.

I've always thought of it as the concept that one individual was predisposed to favorable variance~

You get outdrawn a lot more, but bad luck is less prevalent in SH games because so much of your earn comes from blindstealing and following with a flop bet.

Regular SH handed play has that effect on you

I think I can say with pride that the SH regulars will come down harder on whine posts than any other forum.
