Just curious...this guy knows you and knows you are gay. He's in Mississippi. Is it at all possible that his initial "you'd be the one to notice" was intended just as a lighthearted, although thoroughly inappropriate, joke?
I don't think the guy should be fired. And to be totally fair, the way Steve-o acted, if the first guy gets fired...well, Steve should too for not having the professionalism to walk away from a situation and instead choosing to escalate the situation, as well as use profanity.
