TT, betting this river is dumb. Sometimes I just don't think.

Weird, if he's truly tight. Granted, I'm not famliar with the ins and outs of 6max, but I would have thought J-J was far more likely considering he he check called a reasonable bet on the turn.

at 6max, every single time

at 10max, 90% of the time, unless he was such a rock that my QQ was good for set value only

Interesting...I never feel comfortable at 6max, I'm either too aggressive, or too timid...still trying to find that happy medium...

the real problem here is that you don't know where you're at preflop and you stand to get cornholed if someone good calls behind you and flops a set. the 3 bet fixes both of these problems.

Plus, if he's really tight, you have a very good chance of taking it down preflop or with a continuation bet unless he has AA or flops a set. If he does, you probably lose a lot by flat calling preflop anyway.

I bet more on the turn. As the hand went, I bet the river every time. Your small turn bet allows you to value bet an amount that you can fold to a checkraise.

400 on turn? pot? Muck to a check-raise? What range of hands do you put him on that I'm ahead of on turn/river?

If I had bet more on the turn, then I couldn't bet the river for value? Interesting.
