absurd pickups for Miami. Title next year??? have to be the favorites in the east, what with Flip taking over in detroit. I can't wait to see Rasheed and him work together.

The title was there for Miami this year if both Shaq and Wade hadn't pulled up lame at the end. They still had a good shot with Shaq at 50% before Wade went down right at the end. And yea, I know, Shaq at 50% has been the norm for the last few years.

I hate when the Celtics or any other Boston team for that matter makes a trade sending one of our more recognizable players and we get back players I've never heard of.

But the Celts weren't going to sign Walker so i guess getting something for him is better than nothing.

Not really absurd pickups. Antoine is a cancer and a chucker, and on a team with Shaq and Wade, I prefer Jones and Jones to Posey and Williams.

This is good for Boston. I can't see this being good for Miami. Unless they like having possibly the worst player in the game in their starting lineup. How the heck is Antoine Walker going to help a team with Dwayne Wade and Shaq?

Celts should just be happy they got anything for Antoine.

The problem with Jones & Jones is that you have to put them together to have one decent player. Personally, I think Williams was a good pick-up. I don't know if he's exactly the right player, but they needed a point guard.

The guys on ESPN radio keep saying "charlotte" (I've heard it more than once) as one of the teams. I came on the internet to get more of the details, and it's the (New Orleans) Hornets. C'mon guys, get it right!

[/ QUOTE ]

According to this picture, Charlotte is involved in this trade...

[/ QUOTE ]Walker should help open up the court, which has to help nearly everyone on that team. This team will have two good outside shooters, and one amazing slasher. With the big fellow and that other dude, getting boards, this could be good. Or it could be Riley's grand plan to [censored] over Van Gundy and take the job back. who knows.

My bad, I misinterpreted the Grizzlies logo as the Bobcats one for whatever reason.
