Re: Dan Patrick show...Rob Dibble, what happened????

Tony's been off ESPN Radio for well over a year. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah. I listened to him fall semester of ... 2003 it must've been, while I was interning at a software company in Atlanta. It was great. I'd eat breakfast and wake up to Mike & Mike in the Morning, do some work while laughing too loud to Kornheiser, go get lunch at the start of Dan Patrick, listen to him afterwards, turn the radio off for 1-2 hours of real actual work, and then go home.
En réponse à:
He now does radio in DC at WTEM. They stream the show online. It's only two hours (9-11am), however it's so great, the station runs the same two hours again from 11am-1pm. [/ QUOTE ] You have no idea how happy you just made me. Please tell me Maggie the dog is still alive and rummaging through the trash. |

Re: Dan Patrick show...Rob Dibble, what happened????
too bad about Dibble. i thought he balanced DP out pretty well and made the show really good. it's almost unbearable to listen to DP, especially the beginning of the show where he goes off on a rant of 20-30 minutes of some topic a'la Jim Rome. Leave that stuff to Rome and go back to being the "DP Show".

Re: Dan Patrick show...Rob Dibble, what happened????
The times I found the Dan Patrick so most entertaining is when they would talk about things other than sports, those topics would have the most laughs.
Oh and when they would have Mickey Rivers on. |

[/ QUOTE ] When I listened to Kornheiser, there was a period of time where when the show went to commercials, there'd still be a conversation going on the Internet stream. There'd be many discussions about Rome and how he would be reading his "takes". |

Re: Dan Patrick show...Rob Dibble, what happened????
its nice to see im not the only one who bumps espn radio in the car, altho i would have to agree with the consensus that the dp show was a lot better with rob dibble. i like rome on the radio, and mike and mike is good as well.
