I've been taking a break from playing for a few months, but it's time for a comeback!

1. 10,000 hands at 5/10 6max.
2. Grow some cahonahs and make the thin river value bets
3. Finish HOH v.1 and start v.2
4. Break even for the month at 30+3 sng's.

1) Play as much as I can. I dont think a money goal is very good, even Pros have losing months.
2) Read Theory of Poker and Inside the Poker mind.
3) Take a shot at 5/10 when I feel ready.

Study the Bible with the same intensity that I study poker.

75 hours on the month online, a very tough goal for me while maintaining my stringent table selecting standards. I don't know how many hands this will translate to but I'd guess 15,000 tops.

If you're willing to share, at what point in your poker career did table selection achieve such high priority?

Also, if there's a lull in good 100/200 action, can't you just drop to 30/60 or something and find plenty of juicy games?

Pretty much once I started playing 100/200 and 50/100 as my main games. When I played 10/20 6m I didn't ever use much table selection and when I play the Party 30's I still don't use much other than just sitting down and hoping for the best.

Yeah, I do sometimes. The last few months I've put in 2000-3000 hands per month at Party 30/60 on average.
