Oh, sure. Make me embarass myself like that!

I foolishly pushed, becasue I felt that unless the opponent had the nut hand, I had buckets of fold equity and I had been reading Super System today. Villan called & flipped the turned nut straight. I did not improve, and was stacked.

Then I said, "Jeez, I'm a moran."

Dont be so results oriented, you know better

Just remember this situation in the future situations where only a better hand will call.

EDIT: I erased a bunch of nonsense I wrote put equity since if you are up against KJo exactly than you are obviouly way behind.

Well, I pushed on the turn. On the turn, UTG checked, MP bet 3, I pushed. UTG folded, MP called. He had the straight. I was something like a 4:1 dog at that point.

Regardless of the results, I'm pretty confident my push was quite dumb. But hey, I've only been doing this for a week!

I think this would be a great spot to be very results oriented. Villain had the nuts, he gave you odds to outdraw him, you went all in and missed.

I'm plenty relaxed. I understood your post as joke.

Call and keep everyone in. No one is folding a set/straight/better ace. So either you're ahead in which case you'd love overcalls or you're behind in which case you'd love overcalls. Just call the turn.

Think you should raise preflop or fold it.

And raise on the turn never. If the expressed odds says 4:1 or more then i call the flop bet or the turn bet but i wouldnt be happy.
