Re: Playing rebuy tourneys? Is it worth it?
The trick is not to let the tournament buy-in fool you. Playing a 10+1 freezeout is not even close to a 10+1 rebuy. It is at least the equivilant of a 30+3 freezeout, and maybe closer to a 50+5. You have the buy-in, the initial add-on, any rebuy you make, and the breaktime add-on to use.

Re: Playing rebuy tourneys? Is it worth it?
So what about the 200K at Empire on sunday? Anybody have any experience when the re buys are quite large? I won a satellite and am not sure what to expect.

Re: Playing rebuy tourneys? Is it worth it?
I've had a lot of success with the 10 + 1 rebuys on party playing very tight until the rebuy period is over and just pushing premium hands. However, I just about always add on (like everyone else does). To me these are really 20 + 2 tournaments with weaker competition and juiced prize pools. Definitely +EV
