Cinderella's castle looks too expensive and Mickey's house looks way too small for the 3 of us.

Embassy Suites is really nice and if you get bored with Disneyworld you can do a day at the other giant amusement park (forgot the name).

The answer is: rent a Boardwalk villa room. The Boardwalk resort is split between a hotel and Disney's timeshare property. There are Disney boards where you can buy points from Disney Vacation Club points. You use the points for lodging, weekdays less, weekends more. We checked in on a Sun and out on Friday. Total cost was, I think, like ~1k. This is a next to the top of the line Disney property and it was amazing. Walking distance to Epcot and short boat to MGM. PM if you want more details. P.S. I don't own or rent out points so no conflict here.

The biggest disappointment of my childhood was the moment I realized that the disneyworld castle was nothing more than a giant giftshop.

I was expecting it to have hundreds of rooms and giant winding staircases and large banquet tables full of disney charachters getting wasted.

Ditto. It was even disappointing again as an adult.

It was the day I first realized that the whole world is full of nothing more than a bunch of profit mongering whores who believe in the sanctity of nothing .

So I decided that if I can't beat them, then I better join them.

Disneyworld is the child abduction capital of the world. More children disappear in Disneworld and DisneyLand than in any other place in the world every year .

Some conspiracy theorists (including me) believe that Disneyworld is nothing more than a giant black market child slavery cartel.

Organized bands look for weak unattentive parents to exploit and distract while their operatives dressed as various disney charachters haul the children off to some sort of underground prison system.

A single child can be sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars on the black market.

There are more slaves in the world today than any other time in history (reporting National Geographic and the Oprah Winfrey show.)
