My experience is that such a raises are almost always called because most people want "to see one more card" but its probably game selection matter.

A nice line that opens up for you when do is this to check behind on the turn which usually leads to a decent payoff on the river. This worked out very well for me last night at Party NL50 table I was at. I dont always play my draws this way but its not something I shy away from anymore either. |
