UTG+1 doesn't have aces. He's not the one that 3-bet pf. I'm putting him on a set.

I cap the flop. If he bets into me on the turn, call down. The only way that 3 helped us is if he has 72, so there's no need for a raise.

Looks fine to me. I mean, I guess you could've slowed down on the turn, but that's pretty weak. I guess he had a boat (or quads) because you beat everything else he could logically have.

Yes, I suffered a horrid beat here by 32o. I thought I had read in the FAQ that posting hand outcomes was frowned upon. Is it okay to do so in cases such as this??

You can post results after a good amount of discussion has taken place.

This guy stayed in a capped pf w/ 32o?! Add this guy to your buddylist.

this is correct-not giving results sponsors better discussion. However " where did I go wrong " is a pretty good indication you lost

I never thought about my subject giving it away.. lol

The part that amazed me most about the hand was that he/she logged off immediately after the pot was drug to their chair. I suppose I would've been too ashamed to stick around too. lol

Acctually I see that a lot. It's not that they are ashamed as much as there are some that just like the hit and run. They come in play terrible for a few hands hopping to hit big lucky then rake a huge pot and move to another table and do it again. I've found shame to have little to do with my opponents actions.

It looks good. You capped preflop and raised both the flop and the turn to protect your hand. You cant do much else.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you please explain to me how one protects their hand in a two person pot when the first person to act has bet into you?

Call down on the turn, minus reads of an absolute maniac hes got you beat.

I think you played this one well especially capping the flop. What can you do when a fish calls a capped flop with 32o. I would be more than happy for an utg to call my capped flop with 32o anytime. but sometimes they just get lucky. But i think over all you played this one pretty well.
