I don't want to push here. With 5k behind there is no reason to just jam it in there. I'm leading out for about 700 into the 900 pot. If he pushes call. I would suspect he will only call. I'm probably pushing any non heart turn.

I considered this, and decided there were so few hands beating me and more who might THINK they were that a check was the better move.

Betting out might have protected my trips, although if he pushed over the limper's 500 it's possible he'd have pushed over my bet as well. Not sure how much more credit he'd have given me for a non-steal as second to act rather than last.
