That is at only 6k hands [/ QUOTE ] Surprise, surprise. [ QUOTE ] I know small sample size don't need all you math geeks pointing that out to me. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not particularly interested in pointing it out to you; I just wanted to make sure that everyone else knew that you were referencing extremely short-term results. Based on what I've read it's not reasonable for you to expect to beat the Party $10/20 6max for 2.5 BB/100 over any meaningful sample. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Explain. Why so dif from the 5/10 short? (i suck shorthanded as a whole, so even the 5/10short kicks my ass). [/ QUOTE ] WARNING: HERE COMES A GENERALIZATION... I can fold with a light heart at most 5/10 turn checkraises while 10/20 checkraises have a slew of hairball possibilities. [/ QUOTE ] well put [/ QUOTE ] agreed |

What would a winner at $5/10 6-max need to do to beat the $10/20? Experience?

Based on what I've read it's not reasonable for you to expect to beat the Party $10/20 6max for 2.5 BB/100 over any meaningful sample. [/ QUOTE ] I believe a 2 to 3 BB is attainable and sustainable. I've gone thru some wicked swings up and down. With over 50K hands played, I was in this range. Table selection is paramount IMO. |
