i believe you have to spray the finished product [/ QUOTE ]No way! You definitely want to spray the labels. This will leave your chips un-sprayed, and it will also be WAY easier. -Sam |

Re: Chip labels
I’m about to go through the process of getting labels for 1500 chips. I will be renting out tables, chips, and dealer and will need them for additional security and a more professional look. There are different types of labels but you can pay a bit more and get weatherproof ones that will hold up better.

Feel free to be dense. That's how we learn!
I sprayed the sheets of labels before I applied them to the chips. Follow the directions on the can as to how long it needs to dry. Make sure to do it outside or in a well-ventilated area. I did, but still think I inhaled enough xylene to last me for a while. |

Re: Chip labels
How many games have you seen where drinks are spilled? If people are paying to use my chips they don’t want to see blurred or discolored labels. Is it over kill? I don’t know but my personal preference is chips of no value as you can set any amounts you need. I plan on sticker with an emblem only and no money amounts. A seating card for each position will be provided with a list of blinds, order of hands, and the value of each colored chip.

Re: Chip labels
Drinks shouldn't be on the table anyway. Don't be so ghetto. If you're going to go through the trouble to buy custom chips and make custom labels, spend the extra couple of bucks and buy a small table or 2 for their drinks to sit on.
