Little content but here's my story:

I went from a casual player to playing every night for about three hours. At first my wife said "you need to quit playing damn poker - you're like addicted or something". I was playing when she and the kids were in bed so I was not really bothering anyone. So I kept playing. I have made one withdrawal from our checking account since I began and quickly paid it back - so there is no money lost. Last month I deposited over $1,000 into our checking account and she started to warm to the idea. On July 5th I made $330 in about three hours and made a point of telling her that $330 was in transit to checking. When it posted a few days later she actually said "aren't you playing poker tonight?? It's almost 9:00" THEN the next day she wanted me to teach her to play so she could make some extra money while the kids are in school. I told her maybe. It has taken me a good year to get to where I do better than break even and I don't want her to lose my bankroll...

Yeah, teaching wife how to play = +EV in many ways. It took her a long time to start turning a profit, but now she adds significantly to the monthly profits. And she even enjoys grinding out those crappy Crypto bonuses--life is good. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
