Re: so hows the new 5-10?
[ QUOTE ]
I still have my old friend list from 5/10 and I often see them att 3/6 now ... Like 30% at least is at 3/6 ... [/ QUOTE ] Quite a few people from my friend's list are now playing the $10 SNG's. I don't think the introduction of $3/6 6max has had much to do with that. Rob |

Re: so hows the new 5-10?
This month I have 9.4K hands and have won a bit. In June I lost $140 in 30K hands. Seems fine to me.

Re: so hows the new 5-10?
I find as many of mine at 10/20 as I do at 3/6!!!!! Maybe they think the we will move to a level where "people will respect a bet". Players moving up because they can't beat a lower game has never ceased to amaze me.

Re: so hows the new 5-10?
5/10 6-max I haven't experience any dramatic changes. 5/10 full on the other hand to me is tighter than ever. And I mean micro-limit bonuswhore tight.
10/20 SH no changes either from what I've seen. |

[ QUOTE ] I don't play it any more, but I have a hunch that the 3/6 SH is attracting more weak-tight full-ring 3/6 players than it is 5/10 6-maxers. [/ QUOTE ] My experience so far seems to back that up. I have not recognized many players from 5/10 and table selection is noticeably worse than 1/2 or 5/10. Scott [/ QUOTE ] Of course it's worse than 1/2. But 5/10? really? 3/6 seems pretty nice to me. I may have to move up soon if what you say is true. |

Re: so hows the new 5-10?
i have seen the oppositte at 5/10 full - at least 5 players seeing every flop! I'm killing it.
I think the 5/10 6max is being inflated with a lot of guys who get lucky at 3/6 then decide to give 5/10 a shot. Though the 3/6 is as soft as the 1/2. |

When they're playing really low I assumed they busted, but i don't think the same can be said if they are at 3/6. Most of those players would be at 5/10. With that being said I haven't noticed any difference in game conditions. |

Re: so hows the new 5-10?
I'd agree with you. The 3/6 6 max is super soft. There might be a couple of rocks at the table but they are as generally awful post flop as the 1/2'ers. They don't punish you with good hands, they call down with bad ones, and there are always a couple of fish as well. Found an uber maniac last night at 3/6 83/22/8. He bought in TWICE for 400 and I got most of it. Left the table up 750. Not a bad run at 3/6. Capping draws, capping bottom pair on all streets against my AA, etc.

I've seen more playing 10/20 recently than those dropping down. Rob |
