Default Agreed- poker is a GAME!

So is chess, and darts and Scrabble.

I'd go as far to say that shooting isn't a sport (combined with alpine-type events, it can be) and bowling probably can't be called one either.

First unofficial requirements of a sport- you have to sweat while doing it and it has to be legitimately considered exercise. Also, it has to take a lot of physical training.

Of course, I'm not sure if golf is a "sport" either, but then the definition starts getting hazy, so I will let that go.

I new someone would bring up ball room danceing, but that is still got athletism in it. You have to be in good shape to dance.

the FULL TILT people were there to protest making poker an olympic sport as a clever way to advertise. i don't think they were in any way serious.
