Ah yes, another reason to hate the Orleans, not that I needed another one.

Definitely do not let your hand go . until pots are pushed (your way baby!!)

They will have to pay me to ever see me in their casino AGAIN.

I have banned them from my life.

The first three rules of poker are all the same rule...

Protect your hand, protect your hand, protect your hand!

1. make sure you look at your cards in a manner that keeps others from seeing them, and leaves them in clear view for all to see, especially the dealer.

2. keep a chip on your cards when waiting your turn to act.

3. NEVER EVER RELEASE YOUR HAND UNTIL THEY PUSH YOU THE MONEY. THIS INCLUDES MAKING SURE THE DEALER CORRECTLY READS YOUR HAND AND KILLS ALL THE HANDS THAT LOST.

Sounds like you'll not make any mistakes in this area again after this.

I was playing single table satellites at the WSOP last week. One dealer said "how come you guys never let go of your cards until I push you the pot?" More than one of us mentioned that strange things happen at the poker table and we want to make sure there are no mistakes.

If the dealer was noticing this, I guess people are getting the message.

Regards,

T

A dealer that doesn't understand why you are not releasing your cards UNTIL THEY PUSH YOU THE FRIGGIN' MONEY ALREADY just doesn't "get it."

Try to take my cards, just try, you MIGHT get the top half of each one, but before you get the rest, you'll have to push me the pot.
