Went to SD% seems low, and Blind Steal % high. Blind defence seems low too. It seems odd to me that you would try to steal so much and not defend more.

Yer stats are a little wild - like "I'm gonna kerplafilate you PF and on the flop and if you're still with me on the river, you win." As you go higher, that will work less, so maybe try to check and feel every now and then.

If the SB and BB are typical 40/15/1.5 guys, what are you opening with on the button?

Im also getting to showdown 41.6/50.4 over 90K hands, and FWIW I think I have been running poorly over the last 50Kish hands. I lost my dbase and screenshots for my previous ~60K hands, but my winrate was similar, so I expect my showdown numbers were at least in the same ballpark.

The only thing that came to mind is that I would much rather be sitting on your left than your right. If I did have the misfortune of being on your right, I would take solice in the fact that I could be somewhat successful of leading the river after you try and steal my blind and then check behind on the turn.

Its seems with a 49% ASB, that you will probably be checking quite a few turns.

Just random thoughts.

Ahh..... I was drunk when I wrote this. I got left and right backwards. Basically I would rather have position on you.

I'd like more detail on why you say this. I was hoping that my play was improving and that was the reasos why I'm doing better <grin>. Anyway, you got me thinking. I have stats going back farther, so I ran them.

For my entire time playing $10/20, I have 232,000 hands and these numbers are at 40.28/49.79. For my entire time playing $5/10 and $10/20, I have 300,000 hands and show 39.36/49.76. I'd like to understand in more depth how to interpret these numbers. Can you elaborate? I respect your posts and value your opinion.

yeah but you would almost never have position on me. if you did, you would probably be losing me on the flop, or at best getting 1sb out of me.

i dunno guys, adding hands oop and reducing hands with position seem counterintuitive to me. not saying i disagree, just that it doesn't 'seem' right to me.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm a slightly less aggro version of you, I calldown more and open it up a little less in position.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think this is what i need to do. i open too many hands to be profitable long term. i will probably be taking today and tomorrow to go over a lot of my hands that i opened with and cutting some off. i open with some weak stuff on occasion, which results in missing a lot of showdowns (check on turn/fold on river)

Your post flop AF seem really high especially on the flop. You may not be mixing it up enough.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I dont call much on the flop. Depending on where/who bets come from I do a lot of raising/folding. One area I could probably improve on is not raising donk bets from clowns and peeling one off etc.

Here are my flop stats in more detail:

possible actions: 10263
raise % 8.78
bet % 40.34
call% 12.78
check % 19.94
fold % 18.16
