My GF isn't on BC and I'm both prudent and paranoid, meaning every time is essentially ruined at the buzzer, totally cutting down on my enjoyment, not to mention the inherent pregnency risks even assuming I have perfect tecnique and the willpower and self control of a tibetian monk. Given all this, we used condoms for 2 weeks, and then never used, or even considered using one ever again.
