Read Gambling Theory and Other Topics by Mason Malmuth.

Then you will never say

[ QUOTE ]
Any tricks to beat this kind of crap (say play on multiple sites so when you are running bad on one go to another)?

[/ QUOTE ]

this again, as it is very dangerous to think this is even a possiblity. You can run bad, much worse than you ever thought possible and it will not matter how many sites you play on.

You need to understand for yourself why this is true not have people here tell you it is so. Sorry you got screwed over so bad on that session and sorry if I sound like a jerk, but this is important. I and I think everyone else here went through the same thing you are going through.

It suks but if you learn why it is a good thing you are going to be set for the next time it happens to you. As it will happen again, and again to you and to all of us. It is a good thing beleive it or not.

Are you protecting your hands properly? What are your VPIP, PFR, and aggression?

These sorts of hideous sessions happen from time to time. There is no reason at all to be concerned. If anything, the stats you cited should help you get some perspective. Do you think you're always going to go 2 for 12 (or whatever) with your big pockets? No? Then what are you worrying about?

Thanks for the butt kicking. I just haven't seen so many different ways to bust good to great hands in one session. I have had runs of -220BB before, but it took a long time to get there, never this many in one night.
There was a post about these bad runs are good things. Please explain?
