No, it wasn't. Strassa has two cards. KTo is a favorite to the range of hands here.

If stonekillr wants to eek up a few money spots, fine. But he was shortstacked, and if he wants to win the tourney its an easy call.

Again, he pushes into stonekillr with 85o and he has KTo and doubles up through strassa.

strassa down to 1.7 mil. Hopefully he can table a good hand soon and get some respect from his pushes.

[/ QUOTE ]

The other players know he is pushing with any 2. Staying alive and moving up the payout ladder makes folding to his steals +EV.

That BB's call with KTo was terrible.

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you serious? Did you see Strassa playing the final table?

Yeah, but KTo is only 60/40 against a random hand. I think the payout structure is steep enough that he is giving too much equity by being all in to call with that hand.

It's quite simple, if you dont make that call with KTo, you're a weak tight fish that hates money...

smiley, you're just way off here. If he wants to max his earn in the tournament it is a trivially easy call. If he wants to try to sneak up just 10k and ruin his shot at first (which btw is worth 105k) then he folds. Maybe you don't think it's an "easy call" but if you wanna win it's a necessary call.

Well, we can surely discuss equity here, but it is still not "terrible". Strassa is pushing with any 2.

Appears that about half of the players wanted to make a deal 6 handed, but the others wouldn't go for it yet.

Strassa is going into ultra-tag mode. He was originally pushing with a lot of random cards in LP to get up to like 1.8 mil, but now that he's got bigger stacks on his left he is going to wait it out and get very aggro with a strong hand. That's why he declined the deal, for the most part his competition is weaker than usual.
