Unless you have a read on your opponent, I don't think you can call this.

Standard-sized raise, is all. Tens in the blind, four limpers, 4+4 = 8xBB. And it's not like I'm getting stacked on any flop but this or AJT.

Addressing one of my earlier posts, I think.

I really don't like limping TT's from the button with people in the pot against me. Ugh. I guess a lot of people like to play this weak/tight stlye with these cards play em' for set value, but well... yuck.

Ok, now that I'm past that any reads? is UTG really aggresive? If not then I muck the hand, but if so it could easily be a draw. I mean look at the play again, it's pretty bad if you had a made hand, not to mention that UTG doesn't even put himself all-in, wtf is this? This kind of screams inexperienced player to me, so I may just muck.

I mean either he is limping 78 UTG, call a raise and is afraid of a higher straight(highly unlikely of course - this si sarcasm), or he has a made straight and wants to scare everyone out of the pot for fear someone has AK?nlikely again) This could EASILY be a set or 3's or 9's. I think we can rule out a set of J's as he'd have to be fairly donkish to be limping jacks from UTG and not pushing pre-flop when it's raised.

Why didn't you bet the flop? It is so hard because people play so crappy at these levels, sometimes the dumbest play = the most sophisticated play.

If you give me a better read, I'll place villian on the more likely hands and give better advice.

I think this is some of the more important information for you.
Lay down is fine in my book.

Fosho .. raising also builds a pot for when you do hit your set. I used to play 10s and under this way, but I think it adds a lot of deception to your game when you raise with a wider range of hands.
