i noticed, however, u don't have PT. PT does this for you.

Even fish have different breeds. PT is no substitute for good notetaking and careful observation of betting patterns. When you're holding the second nuts and a 26/7/1.5 is putting half their stack in, PT becomes worthless very quickly.

You can easily keep excellent notes two tabling and still keep entertained.

I tried PT, and there are some reasons I haven't bought it yet.

First, I don't think my playing style has remained the same over more than 1000 hands. I wanted to develop a style I am comfortable with before I started analysing it.

Second, I don't want PT to keep notes on players for me. The main reason that I take notes is not so I can read them later and see: ow, he raises with A4o. It is because if I force myself to constantly take notes, I will know these things without having to look at them.

I want to force myself to look, pay attention too, and analyse every hand that is played. I want to have a read at each and every player at the table. I want to know if he is on tilt, if he raises his pocket pairs more than he raises unsuited big cards, I wanna know if he makes a continuation bet on the flop. I want to know that he raises 1/4 pot if he misses, 3/4 if he hits. I do not believe pokertracker can do this for me.

As soon as I can do this without much trouble at one table, I will add another. But I don't think this will be happening very soon. I really have to focus and I really keep myself busy doing this, and I find it much less boring than auto-piloting 4 tables. I also believe that I learn much faster and develop a better game like this.

You're right Ghasban. 26 and still in college . Too bad you don't get a summer break, but I'm really looking forward to mine.

- Keep logs

[/ QUOTE ]
Put this at the top of your list. How else can you know if you're a winning or losing player? It can also show how a strategy change may have impacted your future sessions. When I'm in a downswing, it helps to look at the log and see that things do turn around.

Because my BR is about 40 times the size of the only deposit I ever made. Other than that, you are right of course, and I am lazy.

Default Progress

July is over, let's see how this is going.

[ QUOTE ]

- Get rid of my € Neteller account and create a $US account
done.

- Get rakeback
Not done. My 1000$ online bankroll is in the mail because all of it was at Interpoker. Stupid Ecash won't let me withdraw to my new Neteller account and my old one has been shut down.

- Buy PT
Not done. Neteller account is empty for above reason.

- Bonuswhore more
Not done. See above.

- Buy a new batch of poker books
Inside the poker mind, HoH vol. 2, Tournament Poker for Advanced Players and Caro's book of Tells are on their way.

- Read them
It's gonna take another month before they get here

- Keep logs
There really isn't much to log until I get my BR back. But this has proven to be really hard for me. I'm just too lazy.

- Only play fullring (I leak shorthanded)
Done.

- Pay attention to the game
Done mostly.

- Think about every action and watch every hand
Hmm... I try...?

- Play at one table
Done, if I play 50$NL

- Play within my bankroll
Done

- Put in a lot of hours
not working so far

- Discuss more hands
done.

- Analyse my hand histories
to be done...
